For the armless chair mould we generally using 718H/P20 for mould cavity core inserts. We put these kinds of armless chair mould on 650 Ton and 780 Ton injection molding machine.

We have made several kinds of chair mould. Annually we manufacture over then 80 sets of chair moulds. Interchangeable inserts for different chair backrest versions. Backrest inserts can be easily changed on the machine, we are also familiar with PC transparent chair with gas injection, various monoblock chair moulds with armrest or without armrest.

Plastic Chair production Process

If you are reading this article, maybe you want to start your business in plastic chair production.

Relatively, chair’s production line is simple. It is not like medical products that have high requirements for producing environment. It is not like bottles, that need several parts produced and fitting together. Chair is finished in one procedure and rejection rate is quite low.

A complete production line includes:

1) Chair mould.

2) Injection machine.

3) Necessary auxiliary machines: water chiller, cooling tower, mixer, dryer.

4) Optional auxiliary machines: crusher, auto loader, robot.

Producing procedure:

1. Install mould on the injection machine, connect pipes & do adjustment;

2. Mix the material with color;

3. Put plastic material to injection machine hopper, hopper dryer dry the material;

4. Operate injection machine, injection machine plasticizes material;

5. Injection machine injects material into mould.

6. Cooling water to cool the plastic parts.

7. Mould opens and chair comes out automatically or robot picks out the chair.
